SNAP Benefits Set to End

There is a free tool in Tarrant County that’s connecting families in need to critical resources like food. It is an all in one app called Parent Pass. The creators say it was built hand in hand with 100 families in diverse neighborhoods across Fort Worth to compile a list of resources. Now they’re calling on even more community partners to step up.
“So if you’re a restaurant, if you’re a food pantry, if you’re a church coming together to put resources out there, please send us a note, let us know. Tag us in social media and we would love to get your resources added immediately. We can do that within about 24 hours or less.” said, Sadie Funk, National Director of Best Place for Kids!.
They say 19,000 people in Tarrant County are already using that app. You can visit their website at parentpass.app.
